Terriea Harris

Counselling & Trauma Therapy

Terriea is an Indigenous Traditional healer and Registered Therapeutic Counsellor from a lineage of powerful medicine people. She has over 10 years experience working with women and girls that have experienced complex trauma, violence and abuse. Her most impactful role was as a statement gatherer with the National Inquiry into Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women and Girls where she held space for the sacred grief and stories of survivors and family members. Terriea works with people who deeply desire to unapologetically love and trust themselves and their bodies to create the lives, relationships and sexual liberation they truly want!

Working from a trauma informed and harm reduction lens, we will gain clarity on and work towards your total wellness goals. We will address the impacts of any traumas with therapeutic practices that nourish and rewire the nervous system and honour your story in a new way cognitively. With your consent, we can marry ancient Healing modalities with evidence based modern Science.

As a BIPOC woman and now thriver of the impacts of Complex PTSD-including childhood sexual abuse and sex trafficking- Terriea deeply values safety, authenticity and connection as the sacred container through which your self actualization unfolds. We all deserve to feel like our best, most empowered self while we live into and express our unique passions and purpose!
