Pelvic Care in Vancouver
Restore Balance Within Your Pelvic Bowl
We use gentle internal techniques to release tension, support healing, and improve pelvic function.
Awaken the Wisdom Within Your Pelvis
Within the pelvic bowl lies a deep reservoir of power, intuition, and emotion—yet many of us carry hidden tension, unresolved stress, and energetic imbalance in this sacred space. Often, we are unaware of how much we hold there, or how profoundly it affects our vitality, creativity, and sense of wholeness.
This work is for anyone seeking to heal, deepen, or reconnect—with themselves, their cycles, their sensuality, or their past. Whether you’re recovering from childbirth, living with pelvic pain, navigating menstrual or hormonal challenges, or simply yearning for deeper embodiment, Pelvic Care offers a path back home to yourself.
The Beaudoin Method created by Martin Beaudoin is inclusive, trauma-informed modality, and attuned to the unique story carried in each body. All are welcome—cisgender women, non-binary individuals, and anyone called to heal in this sacred terrain.

Expectations in Pelvic Care Session
Session Overview
The initial interview is followed by a physical assessment of the tissues where palpation determines the location of pelvic tension and the active engagement of the pelvic muscles with a contraction or “kegel”. Based on the assessment, treatment may include intervaginal myofascial release, trigger point therapy, breathwork and visualization.
Who It’s For
All ages (19+) benefit from HPC whether it’s part of healing a specific condition, pre-conception wellness or the journey into menopause and long term vaginal health. Many report feeling relaxed, grounded, decreased symptoms, increased pelvic strength, having an increased sense of internal awareness and creativity.
Counselling Support
Counselling is often recommended in a combination of HPC treatments to address full-spectrum healing when dealing with the challenges of sexual abuse, sexual trauma, fertility challenges or cancer recovery and support.

The Beaudoin Method of pelvic care and how does it work
The Beaudoin method is a multi level healing process to support pelvic wellness and emotional health for women. It blends manual therapy techniques, myofascial release, energy work, abdominal care, lymphatic, and emotional processing. It was developed by Martin Beaudoin who teaches pelvic care internationally.
Who is this treatment for?
Primarily suitable for people over the age of 18 who are interested in elevating their health and vitality, addressing menstrual concerns, healing emotional and energetic imbalances, shifting sexual health concerns such as low libido or painful intercourse & addressing issues such as prolapse, neuralgia and incontinence. It can also be used for trauma recovery and ability to be more embodied, regulated and more access to joy.
What can I expect during a session?
Prior to a session, the practitioner takes a health and sexuality history, with aspects such as menstrual history, childbirth experiences, sexual experiences, emotional stress and pelvic symptoms.
For some there may be some somatic exercises to begin and discussion in session, and then a plan is created of when to do bodywork and approximate number and lengths of sessions.
Work is done on a mat on the floor and sessions last between 2-4 hours in length.

Do I have to identify as a woman in order to receive care?
No, you do not. Care for non binary or trans folks can be tremendously difficult to find and we are here for all genders and identities.
Can holistic pelvic care help with emotional trauma and past experiences
Yes, it can. The process is allowing the body to unfold at the pace and in the ways it needs, to receive nourishing touch within your particular boundaries and readiness and also to improve connection with your own body, genitals and pelvic space.
Is Pelvic care covered by insurance in Vancouver
Not it is not, unfortunately. We regret this yet it is an emerging field and the more standardised branches of the field aren’t able to address all issues yet.
