Fabio Bocchetti, DOMP

Fabio Bocchetti is an East Vancouver Osteopathic practitioner based on Commercial Drive. He uses his extensive training to provide the best west coast osteopathy interventions to patients.

Born and raised in Brazil, Fabio Bocchetti is an internationally recognized expert in the field of osteopathy. He is not only certified by prestigious schools in the field of osteopathy, he also has formal training in acupuncture and physiotherapy. Over the past decade, he has treated clients with musculoskeletal disorders. Beyond this system, he also treated conditions including migraines, vertigo, insomnia, gastroesophageal reflux etc.

With regards to lesions, Fabio has been inspired by Andrew T. Still, the creator of Osteopathy, who once stated: “Find it, fix it, and leave it alone.” Fabio is a firm believer that our body is designed to be powerful in healing itself and his osteopathic practitioner role is to remove the blocks that are preventing the healing process to take place. He uses this belief and philosophy to implement his therapeutic interventions.

Fabio Bocchetti’s Approach:

In addition to implementing his unique perspective in treatments, Fabio values his formal education from diploma in physiotherapy, a postgraduate degree in Acupuncture and osteopathy degree. With the intention of gaining international experience and training, he gained his Osteopathy degree from the prestigious Madrid school of Osteopathy: Escuela de Osteopatía de Madrid.

Along with his formal theoretical training, he has gained hands-on experience with athletes and the elderly population who rely on him for repairing their injuries, maintaining their careers and living an optimized life. He is not only involved in treating professional and amateur athletes, but he also gains exposure to their lifestyle by practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu and soccer to nurture his athletic passions.

Additionally, he is a huge supporter and follower of his hometown, Rio de Janeiro: the Fluminense Football Club. One other hobby of his is running through various places in Downtown Vancouver especially False Creek. He doesn’t only enjoy the running part, he also gets a sense of freedom and connection to the gorgeous nature in our city: Vancouver.
