We invite you to stir your soul and breathe back life into your family system with Shama and Merissa. This 1 day intensive could allow you new insights into what may be keeping you from living and achieving the life you want.
What makes this workshop unique is that we will guide you into uncovering some hidden dynamics far deeper than conventional therapy can uncover. Depths that often influence the way we take life in or the way we live life. Breath and its depth and fullness is what creates connection and ease. This natural process of safely breathing life in gets entangled and caught up in the fears and stresses we carry in our bodies often unconsciously.
In this intense 1 day workshop, we will use the combination of systemic approach (family constellation) and breathwork to shift the blocks preventing you from fully living with vitality and joy. Our aim is to create a safe space for you to be inspired and encouraged to move beyond the limits of conditioning and step into a new way of being with a lightness that comes from unburdening yourself, bringing more awareness, ease, and laughter to your lives.
Systemic Constellation approach views people as being embedded in and influenced by a larger family system. You inherit more than your eye colour and blood type, you inherit an emotional legacy that stays hidden and often gets missed in conventional therapies. Anxieties, fears, phobias, obsessive thoughts, unexplained symptoms, failed relationships or failed success, could belong to someone 2 or 3 generations back that have ensnared you and keep you stuck in this repetitive cycle. In this workshop, you will be invited to create your own experiential family dynamic. It is done by constructing a three-dimensional ancestral healing experience. This is a viseral experience that allows you to examine hidden dynamics that may allow you new insight into the unconscious and an opening to create a deep internal shift. Family Constellations can help you re-establish a healthy connection with yourself and your ancestors setting you free to forge your own path filled with passion and life energy.
In the second half of the day, we will work on connecting to this new opening through BREATHWORK (REVIVAL). Each time the new image is revisited through Constellation work, an opening is created, giving you the opportunity to breathe life into that space, reconnecting with this new awareness.
Breathwork is an effective tool that allows deep integration to your body, resetting traumas and creating a state of inner peace, harmony, and balance. It allows you to let go of stuck emotions and gain a sense of freedom as well as cultivates a deeper connection with yourself and others.
We will conclude your day with a one hour Osho Kundalini Meditation to shake off and balance the body energy so that you leave the workshop calm and grounded.
This workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced attendees alike. The atmosphere will be comfortable and safe at all times. There will also be time for sharing, which is one of the important parts of the workshop process.

About facilitators
Merissa is a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC) and experienced trauma therapist. She is the director of anxiety and trauma programs at Empower Health. Her holistic approaches are informed by Depth Psychology, Family Systems Theory, Systemic Inherited Trauma, Somatic Experiencing and Dr. Neufelds Developmental Attachment Theory. Merissa is very dedicated to her cause of helping others towards living with more vitality, joy, and ease. Among her private sessions, she offers workshops and facilitates parent education programs.
Shama is a certified Breath therapist, somatic therapist and bodyworker more than 10 years. She has been trained in many modalities over the years. She is a graduate of 3 years extended Diamond Master Breath training in Italy. Shama has been involved in the journey of spiritual growth and path of meditation more than 14 years. Her purpose is to help individuals who are suffering from emotional, mental or physical symptoms due to difficult or traumatic events. Her work focuses on spiritual therapy and inner transformation. Through her many years of learning, practicing and combining eastern and western therapy methods in her work, she ultimately found her unique way of working with people. In her sessions she combines breath work, Somatic Experiencing® techniques, bioenergetics, bodynamics and meditation techniques.
Shama lives in Vancouver and besides her private practice, she facilitates meditation events, meditative therapy groups, breath workshops, and trainings. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience with others all around the world.

- making sense of your child(ren)’s behaviour
- the ways you respond to your child, especially when you are upset
- the behaviours that are working well to strengthen the connect you have with your child(ren)
- your communication style as learned in your family system and how that impacts the relationships in your home
- the individuality of each child in terms of development, mental health, temperament and cognitive ability and what is needed to support the growth of that unique child
